For residents living in our halls of residence there is support available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is available in case you experience an emergency as well as to support your wellbeing.

Our support services include:

Student Life team

The Student Life team are dedicated to supporting student wellbeing and enhancing the student experience. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Student Life are based within all Halls of Residences and support all University of Southampton students.

Below are some examples of the ways in which Student Life are able to help you.

Student Life are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can contact the Student Life team by calling +44(0)23 8059 8180 or emailing studentlife@southampton.ac.uk. Additionally you can visit the team in person by visiting your nearest Halls of Residences.

Please be advised that the Student Life team are not a replacement for the emergency services, and are not trained to solve problems relating to emergency health or safety. In these situations the appropriate emergency service should be contacted.

Student Life work in accordance with the University’s Confidentiality Policy.

 

Nightline

Union Southampton runs a confidential listening and information service called Nightline, which is open every night during term time from 8pm-8am.
